１０月２９日に種まきしたホウレンソウです。
この寒さの中、不織布のおかげで大きくなってきました。
ただ、早朝、不織布はカチンコチンに凍っており、不織布に接している葉っぱが凍傷で白く変色しています。市場にだすものを作るには不織布のべた掛けではなく、トンネルが必要ですね。
味はというと、霜による植物の防御反応として、葉の糖度を増加させ、凍傷を防ごうとしていますので文句なく美味しくなっています。
１月末か２月初めに少量ですが直売所に出してみようかと思います。
厳しい寒さが続いてますので、野菜の成長もゆっくりのため、出荷予定が遅れることもございますので、ご了承ください。
